The location was peaceful, and the view of the river was great! I liked the check in and out process via the Cedar Lodge, it was very easy.

The place had Tesla fast charging stations.
The place had Tesla fast charging stations. The property was old but clean. The carpet could use a deep clean. The room had a balcony with a table and some chairs great for drinking with friends or just hang out and relax while looking out the river.
The room was really big and spacious with a ref, stove top, coffee maker and some cooking and serving utensils.
Actually the property was decent but with no cellular coverage (Tmobile), wifi should have been readily available. Here you have to pay through a 3rd party. Sad! So it’s not great for virtual meetings and stuff.

The location and staff were excellent!!
The location and staff were excellent!! The room was clean, the amenities were great as well, the only problem was our TV. Maintenance couldn’t fix it so they gave us the internet for the TV the first night to remedy the situation which was amazing but not the second night which put a damper on things with no Tv to relax the second night.

The hotel location was good and near to Yosemite.
The hotel location was good and near to Yosemite. The room was good. The Pizza restaurant was good.
We didn't like having to book room service (towels etc and coffee for room) on a daily basis. In our opinion is a throwback to Covid pandemic days, as a management policy to save money not support the customer.

Close to Yosemite park entrance, just a short drive.
Close to Yosemite park entrance, just a short drive. Mildly wild river behind the hotel is great. We ate mostly in Yosemite park (very nice dinner at Yosemite Valley Lodge Mountain Dining Room and a great lunch at Ahwahnee hotel bar).

Stunning location with great views.
Stunning location with great views. Times quoted for fitness room and swimming opening did not happen. Rooms spacious with good facilities but all looked rather shabby and dated. Rooms need a makeover. Balcony view was amazing.
Quiet! The other people staying at this hotel were quiet, respectful, and I suspect everyone was there to go in to Yosemite for daytime hikes. We were close to the highway in front of the hotel, but car traffic was minimal to none between 8pm-10am. Pillows were great. Plenty of hot water for showers. Bath towels were thick and high quality. Black out curtains kept light out and the air conditioner wasn’t too loud. Easy check in/out, convenient small store for buying snacks, hats souvenirs, etc.
We liked everything. The carpark is very big. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. There are 2 swimming pools, the river is across the road from the hotel. Loads of little cosy places to picnic and relax. Only 30 min from Curry Village and all the hikes. The hotel has its own shop and little restauration place. I could go on and on and on. We will definitely stay there again. The pictures do not do justice to this place. It is truly unbelievable a hidden gem in the heart of Yosemite.
Clean, basic, easy check-in at Cedar Lodge. Hot tub is fantastic. Festoon lights are a nice touch. One car space.
Located OUTSIDE Yosemite NP, it can be a quick 30 minute drive to the entry gate if you leave early each day (between 6am & 8am). One day we left at 10.15am and it took a full 3 hours in a crawling queue of traffic just to reach the park gate. This was late May, Memorial Day weekend.
Big fridge/freezer.
Very pleased with location (just 6 miles from Yosemite NP) and room. Frankly, we don't understand why some had given this hotel low marks. Our room was clean, had plenty of space, a small fridge, good beer on tap at the bar. We're from SoCal and are so glad we selected Cedar Lodge (on CA 140) rather than any hotel at the southern (CA 41) entrance. This saved hours of driving time! What's not to like?
Lobby staff and manager were excellent. We stayed in room 206 and in the morning when we were loading up our car housekeeping was smoking near our room. We got worried that the smoke had entered our room so we let the manager know. The rooms are a little dark and smell older but very comfortable and near Yosemite. We found so many goodies in their grocery store and the lobby had a microwave.
The property was practically at Yosemite gate. beautiful game room multiple pools and hot tubs. Family room was perfect. Kitchen was stocked better than the usual hotel efficiency. the two Bathrooms appeared to be recently updated. view from deck of the river was outstanding. would highly recommend.
The hotel is close to Yosemite park. It was a very large room, with balcony. Across from there a hotel there was a gazebo all lit up at night. The room looks like it has been well cleaned, but there was a strong chemical smell and an underlying strange odor (mold?).
The location and surroundings are just fabulous. Not very far from Yosemite National Park at all. The room was a great size and the bed was the comfiest we’d ever had. We upgraded to a room with a balcony and so glad we did.
our particular unit looked like it was updated versus the pics so we were pleasantly surprised. loved it’s proximity to the entrance of the national park- we were in Yosemite Valley within 30 minutes of leaving the hotel.
