The pictures of our room and facilities are accurate. Beautiful location. Restaurant had good food and the staff was friendly. Activities on sight, but some at a cost. Also, the coffee in the room was good.

We stayed at this fantastic, cute, and charming Inn on the way to Yosemite. The proprietors were super helpful, warm, and welcoming - and made a delicious breakfast. The room was spacious, with a semi private porch and gorgeous view. We would make a trip back to Groveland just to stay here!

Groveland is a small town just a short drive from Yosemite’s Big Oak Flat entrance. It has restaurants, a few gift shops and a small grocery store with ample supplies. There is a gas station on the edge of town. It was a good place for an overnight stop.

The town is some 25-30 minutes from the Rush Creek resort where we stayed.
We only drove through Groveland, it seemed to have a lovely one block downtown with BBs, restaurants, and a few other stores. On the road to Yosemite from San Francisco through Manteca, Groveland is the most picturesque little town.

I had trouble finding Groveland, was late at night. the owner/manager came and found me! Wonderful service.
Had problems finding the correct roads to Groveland, then to Yosemite. I did finally get it all together and thoroughly enjoyed my time there.

Unexpectedly charming town with way more facilities then we had imagined. The local saloon is awesome, so is the grocery store. We didn't really have time to explore the other options (as we were there to visit Yosemite) but there were plenty more interesting eating/drinking options around.

I wanted a more plush room.
I wanted a more plush room. This one is adequate but the pillows were too hard and the bedding too thin for winter. Also the bed itself was not plush.
It’s not the fault of Westgate. I tried to book at another more plush hotel but I was told there were no more rooms. Come to find out there were no more rooms at the price Booking.com got to offer. I’m learning.

Groveland is a wonderful place to stay.
Groveland is a wonderful place to stay. About 30 min to park entrance. Great grocery store, restaurants, local bar etc. Main Street very historic looking. Some nice lodging including a youth hostel for solo & budget travelers as well as some great campgrounds in the area.
Wonderful location, just West of Yosemite. Beautiful old house overlooking the Groveland valley. Lovely big room with full king beds, with a great porch. Spotless room and bathroom, excellent WiFi, welcoming and comfortable common spaces. Easy check-in, easy parking. Britany & Chris are welcoming, friendly, and attentive hosts. Breakfast was made warm to order and delicious. Really a lovely stay.
Considering that we did a roadtrip in California and we came in by car via Las Vegas, the localization was one of the best that we could find (we wanted to go all the way in Yosemite, leave the luggage in Groveland and then go back). For that, it was awesome.
Other than that, the place is just what you need to rest and leave your things. It's a room with shared bathroom in a huge old house.
Staff were so helpful when our hire car wouldn’t start. Rescued us from a very stressful end to our holiday. Loved the pool - and its music - plus the games room, tavern and restaurant. And liked not having a tv in the room, but books and board games instead! Brilliant, super-professional staff, in a wonderful hotel right next to Yosemite. Highly recommended
Lovely, spacious kitchen with everything you need. The bedrooms are lovely and comfortable. Off season, there are deer in the garden, and turkey vultures floating on the thermals. Very close to Yosemite National Park, where we spent most of our time.
Friendly people around, despite our tourist status, beautiful surrounding area, and a cute town.
Location is good and decent price for solo travelers on a budget heading into Yosemite. 8 room dorm and shared bathroom was excellent. Very clean. Excellent location in Groveland (with great grocery store, restaurants/local bar/etc, just 30 min from park entrance.
Very cute facility! Appreciate the updated rooms and loved that it was right next to the dinner. Made it convenient to get something to eat when there was not much around. We also loved the communal outdoor seating area and little playground as well.
Very nice interior and everything was perfectly clean! Yosemite Nationalpark was easily accessible in 40 min. A little grocery store with everything you need near by (5 min by car). We were a group of 4, the sleep sofa was good to sleep.
The location is so great, only an half hour to Yosemite entrance and many gas station nearby. And, there is a supermarket almost has everything. Also, the cabin is well-equipped with variety of kitchenwares.
This is a family owned hotel, the owners are extremely nice and welcoming, the whole atmosphere in the hotel is very positive.
Very good location, less than an hour from the Yosemite park entrance.
Gorgeous little historic hotel with fabulous host! Perfect for a trip into Yosemite, and easy car park out back. The complimentary breakfast items (muffin and apple) were a lovely touch.
Location is convenient. We drove from Yosemite and it was great to find the hotel right on the main street. Room was comfortable, full of small details. Helpful and kind d staff
